Document expiry lets you give any file an end date, so it disappears from your library automatically once that date passes. This is handy for time-limited offers, dated price lists, or paperwork that should only be available for a set window. Expiry is an Geavanceerd plan Functie.
Setting an expiry date
Open the document on the Add Document screen in your hosted dashboard and choose the date you want it to expire. When that date arrives, the document is switched to a private status and stops showing in your library, so visitors can no longer see or download it.
What counts as expired
Expiry hides documents that are part of your normal published library. If you have set a library to also include documents with other statuses, that choice affects whether an expired item is still visible. In most cases you will be showing published documents only, and expired files drop out of view as soon as their date passes.
