Accentongevoelig zoeken

Accent-insensitive search improves how the search box behaves by treating accented and plain characters as the same. This is useful for content in languages that use accents, since visitors can find what they want whether or not they type the accent.

What it does

The search box matches accented characters with their plain equivalents. For example, a search for “Zurich” also returns results such as “Zürich”, and a search for “Zürich” also returns “Zurich”.

Do I need to turn it on?

No. Accent-insensitive search is built into your document library and works automatically, so there is nothing to set up.
