Go to <strong>Ajustes<\/strong> in the left menu, choose a tab, then click <strong>Save<\/strong> at the bottom of the tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These options set up your main library, which lists all of your documents. They also become the starting values for each library you build afterwards. If you build additional libraries in the <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/library-builder\/\">Library Builder<\/a>, they keep their own layout, columns, links and controls, so changing these options does not affect them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are seven tabs: <a href=\"#general-tab\">General<\/a>, <a href=\"#display-tab\">Display<\/a>, <a href=\"#search-tab\">Buscar<\/a>, <a href=\"#branding-tab\">Branding<\/a>, <a href=\"#library-design-tab\">Library Design<\/a>, <a href=\"#translations-tab\">Translations<\/a> y <a href=\"#advanced-tab\">Avanzado<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General tab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Site settings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Site title<\/strong> &#8211; The name of your document library, shown in your dashboard and on your library website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Timezone<\/strong> &#8211; Used for scheduling and document expiry dates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Library language<\/strong> &#8211; Choose English, Nederlands, Deutsch, Fran\u00e7ais, Italiano or Espa\u00f1ol. This sets the language of your dashboard, your libraries and the emails sent to you. The page reloads after you save. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/translating-your-document-library\/\">traducir tu biblioteca de documentos<\/a> to use a language which is not listed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Formato de fecha<\/strong> &#8211; How dates appear next to your documents. For example, F j, Y shows September 12, 2026. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/document-library-dates\/\">displaying dates in the document library<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Control de versiones<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Solo para el plan Advanced<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Enable<\/strong> &#8211; Keeps a history of the files behind each document as you replace them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Replacing files<\/strong> &#8211; Choose whether to keep the original file in your file library when you replace it, or delete the old version. Keeping it is the default, and it is what gives you a version history. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/document-version-control\/\">control de versiones<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Front end document submission<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These options control how the submission form behaves. The form itself is switched on the Publish Library page, not here. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/accepting-document-submissions\/\">aceptar env\u00edos de documentos de los visitantes<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Enable admin email<\/strong> &#8211; Emails you whenever a visitor submits a document.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Enable moderation<\/strong> &#8211; Holds new documents for your approval instead of publishing them straight away. This is switched on for new libraries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Captura de leads<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Con el plan Advanced, la captura de datos solicita a los visitantes su informaci\u00f3n antes de que puedan descargar. Leave the text blank to hide the checkbox.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Submit button text<\/strong>, <strong>Confirmation message text<\/strong> y <strong>Texto del bot\u00f3n de descarga<\/strong> &#8211; The wording a visitor sees as they complete the form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Webhook URL<\/strong> &#8211; Sends each lead to another service, such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, a Google Sheet or your CRM.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Display tab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These options control the contents and layout of your library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dise\u00f1o por defecto<\/strong> &#8211; Choose Table or Grid. The pencil icon on a column opens its own options, including its heading, width, column type and which devices it appears on. Choose Other to sort by a column which is not in the list, then name it in <strong>Sort column<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sort direction<\/strong> &#8211; Automatic, ascending or descending.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Multi-column sorting<\/strong> &#8211; Lets visitors sort by two columns at once. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/document-library-sort-options\/\">document library sort options<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Download button<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Button behavior<\/strong> &#8211; What happens when a visitor clicks the link. Documents download by default.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Estilo<\/strong> &#8211; A button, a file type button or a text link.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Button\/link text<\/strong> &#8211; The wording on the link, for example Download.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Icono<\/strong> &#8211; Adds a download icon.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>New tab<\/strong> &#8211; Opens the download in a new browser tab. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/links-document-library\/\">enlaces en la biblioteca de documentos<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Preview button<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Enable preview?<\/strong> &#8211; Shows a preview button for supported file types. Previews are off by default.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Estilo<\/strong>, <strong>Button\/link text<\/strong> y <strong>Icono<\/strong> &#8211; How the preview control looks and what it says. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/document-preview\/\">vista previa de documentos<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Descargas m\u00faltiples<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Allow multiple downloads?<\/strong> &#8211; Adds a checkbox to each row so visitors can download several documents as one zip file.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Button text<\/strong> &#8211; The wording on the bulk download button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Button position<\/strong> &#8211; Above the library, below it, or both.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Select all<\/strong> &#8211; Adds a link in the table header which selects every document. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/links-document-library\/#multi-download-buttons\">how the multi-download checkboxes work<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Carpetas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Enable folders<\/strong> &#8211; Groups your documents into folders, one per category.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sort folders by<\/strong> &#8211; Category name, category slug, category order or the number of documents in each category.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Folder display<\/strong> &#8211; Whether folders start open or closed. Choose Custom to name the categories which open, in the <strong>Personalizado<\/strong> field underneath. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/document-folders\/\">carpetas de documentos<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Search tab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Search box<\/strong> &#8211; Displays a search box above your documents. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/document-library-search\/\">searching the document library<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ubicaciones de los filtros<\/strong> &#8211; Show the filter dropdowns above the library, inside the column headings, or both. Ticking either one reveals the filter builder, where you add, rename and reorder your filters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Multi-select filters<\/strong> &#8211; Lets visitors select more than one value from each filter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Active filters<\/strong> &#8211; Displays the filters a visitor has applied above the library.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Filter counts<\/strong> &#8211; Shows the number of matching documents beside each filter option. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/document-library-filters\/\">filtros de biblioteca de documentos<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Branding tab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These options control the branding of your dashboard and of your library website, outside the library itself. The colors of the library are on the <a href=\"#library-design-tab\">Library Design tab<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Logo<\/strong> &#8211; Shown in your dashboard and at the top of your library website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Site icon<\/strong> &#8211; The small icon in the browser tab. Use a square image, at least 512 by 512 pixels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Brand color<\/strong> &#8211; The accent color for your dashboard and for the parts of your published pages outside the library, such as the password screen, the page menu and the lead capture form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Font<\/strong> &#8211; The typeface used on your library website and your embedded library. Choose one of the fonts listed, or choose Custom and name any Google Font in <strong>Custom Google Font<\/strong>. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/document-library-styling\/\">changing the styling of your document library<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Library Design tab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This tab styles the documents themselves. It has three sections, Table, Grid and Folders, and each starts with a <strong>Design<\/strong> option set to Default. Switching a section to Custom reveals its detailed options, and each section has a <strong>Reset to the default<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Tabla<\/strong> &#8211; Start from one of seven templates: Default, Minimal, Delicate, Neutral, Dark, Blue and Nature. The custom options cover the borders, the background colors of the header, rows and buttons, and the font color and size for each kind of text. They also cover alternate row or column shading, the corner style, the search box, the filter dropdowns, the checkbox color and the row spacing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cuadr\u00edcula<\/strong> &#8211; The same seven templates are available. The custom options cover the card, the document image, the category badge, the buttons, the fonts and the borders. They also cover the search box, the filter dropdowns, the checkbox color and the corner style.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Carpetas<\/strong> &#8211; Set the <strong>Top-level Folder color<\/strong> and the <strong>Sub-level folder color<\/strong>, or replace the icons by pasting SVG code into <strong>Closed folder icon<\/strong> y <strong>Open folder icon<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your changes are previewed as you make them. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/document-library-styling\/\">changing the styling of your document library<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Translations tab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Use this tab to change the text your visitors see, or to add a language which is not one of the six built-in languages. Click <strong>Add another language<\/strong> and name the language. There are then six groups of text to work through: Counts and paging, Search and filters, Buttons and downloads, Empty and loading states, Views and sorting, and Rows and selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">bajo <strong>Libraries<\/strong>, tick the libraries which use that language, or tick <strong>Also use for any library not listed in another language<\/strong> to make it your fallback. Tick <strong>Right-to-left language<\/strong> for languages such as Arabic and Hebrew. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/translating-your-document-library\/\">traducir tu biblioteca de documentos<\/a> para ver la gu\u00eda completa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advanced tab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Content length<\/strong> &#8211; How many words of the content column are shown. The default is 15 words, and -1 shows the full content. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/document-library-content\/#content-and-excerpt-length\">document library content length<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Shortcodes and media<\/strong> &#8211; Renders shortcodes and embedded media inside your documents. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/embedded-audio-video-doc-library\/\">adding embedded audio and video<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Text links<\/strong> &#8211; Opens text links in a new tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lightbox de im\u00e1genes<\/strong> &#8211; Opens document images in a lightbox when a visitor clicks them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Unique URLs<\/strong> &#8211; Gives searched, filtered, sorted and paged views their own web address, so that a visitor can share or bookmark what they are looking at.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Table options<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Image size<\/strong> &#8211; The size of the image column, entered as width by height in pixels, for example 80&#215;80. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/document-library-image-options\/\">document library image options<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Caching<\/strong> &#8211; Stores your library so that it loads faster, with <strong>Cache expires after<\/strong> setting how many hours it is kept. The default is 6 hours. Use <strong>Clear cache<\/strong> to empty it straight away.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>L\u00edmite de documentos<\/strong> &#8211; The largest number of documents a library will display. The default is 500, and -1 removes the limit. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/number-documents\/\">changing the number of documents in the library<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Responsive display<\/strong> &#8211; How the extra columns appear when a visitor expands a row on a small screen. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/dlp-responsive-options\/\">mobile visibility and responsive options<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Paginaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Documents per page<\/strong> &#8211; How many documents appear before a visitor moves to the next page. The default is 25.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Document total<\/strong> &#8211; Where the count of documents appears, or Hidden.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pagination style<\/strong> &#8211; Page numbers, Previous and Next buttons, First and Last buttons, or a combination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Pagination position<\/strong> y <strong>Page length<\/strong> &#8211; Where the paging buttons and the &#8220;show N entries&#8221; selector appear, or Hidden.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Infinite scroll<\/strong> &#8211; Loads more documents as a visitor scrolls, instead of paging. <strong>Container height<\/strong> then sets the height of the scrolling area, which defaults to 70vh. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/document-library-controls\/\">document library controls<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Empty table messages<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>No documents message<\/strong> &#8211; Shown when the library has no documents to display.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No matching documents message<\/strong> &#8211; Shown when a search or filter finds nothing. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/no-documents-message\/\">customizing the no-documents message<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Options set elsewhere<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Certain options are set on their own screens instead of the global settings page:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your embed code, your library website, your allowed domains and the document submission form are on the <strong>Publicar biblioteca<\/strong> page. See <a href=\"https:\/\/documentlibrary.pro\/es\/docs\/publishing-your-library\/\">publicar tu biblioteca<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passwords and file protection are on the <strong>Control de acceso<\/strong> page, on the Advanced plan.
